Employee Is Injured in Fall

On November 15, 2004, Employee #1 was performing demolition and remodeling work to an office building. Employee #1 was pulling drywall from the interior wall studs while standing on a mini-scaffold (Baker) with feel on a platform, 2 ft above the floor. A piece of drywall pulled easier than expected and Employee #1 lost balance and fell backwards to the floor. As Employee #1 was falling he placed his arms behind him to break the fall. Employee #1 received severe laceration when his right wrist fell onto the edge of piece of metal stud.
