Employee Amputates Finger on Belt Sander

On May 18, 2005, Employee #1 was deburring a metal part on a belt sander, when his glove got caught. His finger was pulled in between the sanding belt and the tool rest. The index finger of his right hand was amputated to the first joint. He was not hospitalized.
