Employee Is Killed in Fall While Working Construction

On May 18, 2005, Employee #1 was performing inside condo construction work. He was working on an interior wall, installing a preassembled door frame on a third floor patio entrance. He was standing on a 6-ft stepladder to reach the top 2 by 4 board. He fell from the ladder through the unguarded door opening, landing on the ground approximately 20 feet below. He sustained a head concussion and was killed.
