Event: 01/24/2005
Fall Kills Construction Employee

At approximately 12:20 p.m. on January 24, 2005, an employee was laying out the location of the exterior walls of a residential home. The employee worked on the first floor over the half-basement that was 13.5 feet below ground level. The employee was kneeling at the edge of the basement wall making a chalk line for the exterior walls of the house. As he stood up to move to a difference area, he apparently slipped and fell to the basement floor. He hit his head on a rock and was killed.
