Employee Fractures Wrist in Fall from Post

At approximately 1:00 p.m. on May 3, 2004, Employee #1, a carpenter, was moving from a ladder to a post that was approximately 12 feet away in order to receive a truss from a forklift and place it in position. As Employee transitioned from the ladder to the post, the forklift operator struck the post with the truss, causing Employee #1 to fall approximately 16 feet to the ground. Employee #1 was taken to a nearby medical facility, where he was hospitalized and treated for two fractures to his right wrist.
