Employee #1 was returning to the Depot Casino from the Red Hawk Sports Bar, where he had been issuing a hand pay jackpot. He was in the crosswalk of Highway 50 East. An eastbound Jeep sports utility vehicle (SUV) stopped to allow him to cross the street. An eastbound Toyota pickup truck did not stop and rear-ended the SUV, forcing it to strike Employee #1, killing him.
