Employee Fractures Foot in Fall from Roof

At approximately 7:30 a.m. on February 14, 2007, an employee was on top of a two story single family home installing roof edge metals. The employee picked up a piece of metal and as he stepped backwards, he stepped off the roof and fell 18 ft 8 in. onto the ground. The employee was not wearing any personal fall protection. The employee was hospitalized and treated for fractured foot and ankle.
