Employee Is Injured after Falling from Conveyor Belt

At approximately 9:00 a.m. on August 5, 2005, Employee #1, working for Robertson's Ready Mix, a cement ready mix contractor, stepped on the belt of the sand conveyor, while the conveyor was running. He fell onto the ground and suffered multiple injuries, including a fractured left clavicle, fractured left rib, and fractured left shoulder. He was hospitalized for seven days at Desert Regional Medical Center, Palm Springs, CA.
