Employee Fractured after Falling

At 10:00 a.m. on December 21, 2004, Employee #1, working for The Boeing Co. in Anaheim, CA, was changing the power supply of a console while in a squat position. Employee #1 had replaced three power supplies on the console prior to the incident. After finishing the installation, he stood up and walked to his right side to have relevant paper work approved by an inspector. As Employee #1 was walking, he stepped on a plastic box and lost his balance. Employee #1 fell on his left side causing a fracture to his left upper leg, which required surgery and hospitalization for 4 days. The box was used as a step stool.
