Employee Is Injured in Fall from Second Story

At 6:00 p.m. on October 8, 2004, Employee #1 was installing sub-flooring on the second story of an A-frame style home. He fell backwards off an open side, 17 ft to the ground. Employee #1 was hospitalized for injuries to his upper torso. The Employer failed to ensure that employees were protected from falling off of the building, when working near the open sides.
