Construction employee injured by falling material

Employee #1 was dismantling an aluminum joist-frame shoring system. The employee was attaching two, 20-ft straps to bottom of the leg frames to have forklift pull the system down. The base plates and the top and bottom screw jacks had been loosened. Loose materials and stringers were observed by employees. Another employee was helping to drop the floor jacks when thesystem became unstable and collapsed. Material, such as plywood and aluminum stringers, fell on Employee #1's right side. Employee sustained minor injuries.
