Three Employees Fractures Bones When Struck by Trusses

On March 26, 2004, three employees were constructing an 8 unit 3-story townhouse. Approximately 40 trusses that had been temporarily placed toppled over. Three workers were either struck by the falling trusses or fell from the trusses during the collapse. The three injured workers were transported to Fairfax INOVA Hospital and remained overnight. All three employees apparently had fractures which required hospitalization and surgeries.
