Employee is killed when struck by vehicle

At approximately 2:15 p.m. on July 6, 2004, Employee #1 was part of a team that was conducting directional boring for a sprinkler system along a three lane roadway. Employee #1 was assigned with the duty of flagging vehicles away from the construction area. Although Employee #1 was wearing a bright orange T-shirt, he was struck by a motor vehicle. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
