Employee is killed after being struck by falling tree

At approximately 8:05 a.m., on May 21, 2004, an employee was felling trees. The employee had just completed the felling of the third tree when a snag tree fell and struck the employee in the back, killing him. The snag tree was approximately 68 feet tall. The felling operation occurred approximately 20-feet away from the snag tree.
