Employee's Head Pinched by Carpet Puller

On December 1, 2004, an employee, who was working in a carpet Bay number 4, reached to curl the carpet up to a position so the carpet would be more horizontal to allow the carpet grabber to easily grip the carpet and pull it onto the shuttle table. The employee's head was pinched between the carpet puller device and the steel frame of the bay. The employee suffered head trauma, including hearing loss, bone fractures, and vision impairment, as a result of the accident.
