Employee Suffers Injury in Skill Saw Accident

At 8:00 a.m. on June 4, 2008, Employee #1 of, Kaiser Permanente, was injured when the blade of a skill saw hit his left index finger while cutting a wooden counter top. He was admitted to Kaiser Hospital in Bellflower and kept in there for 2 days for medical treatment. Employee #1 suffered a partial amputation to his left index finger. The portable saw model, HILTI WSC 167, was found to be alright with its sliding guard in position.
