Employee's Leg Is Fractured When Struck by Forklift

On November 8, 2006, Employee #1, a temporary worker with Select Remedy, was walking at a Mattel distribution warehouse when he was struck by a forklift that was backing. Employee #1 was hospitalized for a fractured right hip. He stated that the forklift operator was not looking backwards and did not activate the horn while backing. The forklift operator could not be reached for an interview.
