Employee Is Injured in Fall from Scaffold

At about 3:25 p.m. on May 3, 2006, Employee #1, with Brian Dorman Construction, was at a residential construction site installing interior crown molding, while standing on scaffolding. When one of the scaffold planks reportedly slipped, he fell 7 ft. Employee #1 lost consciousness, and was hospitalized for a concussion and a rib injury. There were no witnesses and the scaffolding was not available for inspection.
