Investigation Summary
On September 22, 2004, Employee #1, a framer with Brady Company, was climbing a scaffold ladder at Coronado High School. He lost his grip near the first level of the scaffold and fell approximately 7 ft to the dirt ground. Employee #1 was hospitalized for a fractured hip and right wrist. There were no witnesses to the accident. The investigation revealed that Employee #1 was not carrying anything while ascending, and that the ladder was not wet or slippery.
