Employee is killed after falling from ladder

On July 8, 2004, an employee was climbing a ladder to change a heater in the motor control room. The employee's hands became numb and cold; he lost control and fell backwards 47 in. to the floor. The employee may have hit something on the way down. The employee broke his back and was hospitalized for eighteen days before he died.
