Two Employees Receives Electric Shock While Moving Tank

On October 28, 2003, Employees #1 and #2 were assisting in the moving of an empty 110,000 gallon liquid fertilizer storage tank from the dike area to the storage area. A mobile truck crane had hooked up to the top of the tank and was lifting the tank 4-6 inch off the ground. The crane was moving to the south with Employee #1 on the west side and the tank and Employee #2 on the east side. They were facing the crane, apparently steadying and guiding the tank. The tank came in contact with a 7200 volt over head power line. Both employees received electric shock and were transported to a hospital where they were released on October 29.
