Worker receives injuries when struck by falling load

On October 7, 2004, Employee #1, an employee of Sugarcreek Industries, Inc., was struck by a dropped load while removing a hydraulic unit from a reciprocating paint unit. The load fell when a wire rope fastener failed. Employee #1 received multiple fractures, and his left index finger had to be surgically reattached.
