Investigation Summary
On May 11, 2004, Employee #1 was holding the end of a coil of steel, as it was being pushed from a mandrel and stripper plate. When the coil fell, his hand was caught between the coil and hauling cart. The force of the steel coil upon his hand amputated a finger.
