Employee is killed when run over by truck tire

Employee #1, a truck driver, was placing a tarp on his truck after it was loaded with wheat. He forgot to set the parking brake before he got out of the truck and it started rolling. He ran after it and tried to jump onto the truck when he slipped and fell and the dual wheels ran over his lower right leg. The employee drove himself to the Walla Walla VA Hospital. He was later transferred to the Seattle VA Hospital where they found he had a broken bone in his foot. Complications developed and he died in the hospital.
