Employee injured by tree limb

Employee #1 was moving a black locust tree in a brush pile when a 4.25-inch tree limb sprang back and came through the front glass of the cab of the machine. The tree limb pierced the lower abdomen of the employee and pinned him against the back part of the seat. He was hospitalized with his injuries.
