Employee injured in fall from trellis

On November 20, 2002, Employee #1, an employer whose company was constructing wooden trellises, was walking on the top of the 2-in. by 10-in. joists. Employee #1 wanted to retrieve a wooden plank that was going to be used as a work platform. He lost his balance and fell 12 ft 8 in. to the ground. He was hospitalized.
