Employee Is Injured When He Gets Caught in Auger

On November 16, 2004, Employee #1 was cleaning the HEM paving machine when his sweatshirt was caught by the moving auger. Employee #1 was pulled into the auger. Employee #1 went through the auger twice before he was able to get out of the auger. Employee #1 suffered multiple broken bones and bruises. Employee #1 was hospitalized as a result of his injuries.
