Employee killed when pinned between motrains

On October 23, 2003, Employee #1 was working on the mezzanine above a seat transfer line. The employee was pinned between two motrains going in opposite directions. The employee was found standing in an upright position between the two motrains by coworkers responding to a fault, which developed when the two motrains were no longer able to move due to the accident. Employee #1 was killed.
