Investigation Summary

On September 23, 2003, an employee of Federal Express was in the vicinity where a coworker from D.W. Nicholson was driving a forklift. The coworker was making a right turn, decelerating as he turned, and heard a yell to stop. He stopped short with the load, a large rubber waste bin, the Federal Express employee was knocked to the ground. The employee attempted to get up and walk away, however, the coworker required the employee to remain on floor until she was evaluated by the Emergency Medical Technician. The employee was evaluated and taken to Alaska Native Medical Center, and treated for bruises and released.
