Investigation Summary
On July 14, 2003, an employee working as a carpenter for Trucano Construction Company was applying a rubber adhesive to the back wall of a newly constructed building. The employee was standing on a 6-foot Werner stepladder, when the bottom legs of the ladder slipped off the ledge. The employee was killed when he fell 20 feet to the ground.
