Employee killed in residence after fall on the job

Tri-Tec LLC was a construction management company working for the Ford Motor Company. Construction involved the body, paint and assembly areas at the Ford Truck Assembly Plant. Employee #1 was a project engineer for Tri-Tec. Employee #1 was found dead in a locally supplied company apartment six days after he was involved in a minor incident, a fall with first aid treatment in the Ford paint area on November 29, 2002. After a subsequent mandatory medical examination, Employee #1 was found to be not fit for duty and was removed from the site for violation of company safety policies. Employee #1 did not return to the job site, and was discovered dead at his local residence on December 5, 2002.
