Employee killed in fall through sidewalk grate

At approximately 9:45 p.m. on February 17, 2003, Employee #1, employed by Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), was removing snow from the sidewalk in front of the Gray/Jackson Building. He was operating a Bobcat when it fell through a grate in the sidewalk and landed 25 feet below the sidewalk. He was taken to the emergency room where he died.
