Employee injured after tripping over piano

At approximately 8:15 a.m. on February 28, 2003, Employee #1, an elementary school teacher, was walking toward a blackboard to do a presentation for other teachers who were seated in the classroom. She was talking and looking up at the blackboard when she tripped over the left rear caster of a Baldwin spinet piano that was facing the blackboard. She fell forward with her arms outstretched and fractured her left forearm. She was hospitalized with her injury.
