Investigation Summary
At approximately 12:40 p.m. on May 3, 2002, Employee #1 was having lunch with her boyfriend and was coughing and having a hard time breathing. She told her trainer about her situation because she wanted to leave. The trainer sat her down and called for medical assistance after she complained of having a hard time breathing. Employee #1 passed out shortly before the paramedics arrived. She was transported to Kuakini Hospital and was pronounced dead the next day.
