Employees burned in gas line explosion, and one is killed

Employees #1 and #2 were working for Shelton Pipeline Incorporated. The two were boring under a road when they struck an underground gas line that exploded. Both employees received third-degree thermal burns over 70 percent of their bodies. Both employees were hospitalized. Employee #1 died a week after the explosion.
