Employee hospitalized in radial arm saw accident

On August 9, 2001, an employee was using a radial saw with a 14-inch blade to cut 2 by 4s into smaller pieces. After cutting several pieces, the wood jammed and pulled the employee's left hand into the saw. The employee suffered partial amputation of his left hand.
