Employee Is Struck and Asphyxiated by Earthmoving Tire

On December 14, 2005, Employee #1 was inspecting an earthmoving tire, which weighed about 9,000 pounds. As he turned away from the tire, it fell over, striking and pinning him to the floor. With the tire lying upon his body, his breathing was constricted, and he died from asphyxia.
