Employee Fell From Truck - Killed By Wheels Of A Trailer

Employee #1, a farm laborer, died when he fell out of a truck and was run over by the wheels of the trailer. He climbed on top of a moving flatbed truck, which was pulling a strawberry trailer. The trailer measured twelve feet two inches by twenty feet two inches. Employee #1 was in the process of retrieving empty strawberry cardboard boxes, in preparation of continuing to pick strawberries. He fell off the truck and was crushed by the wheels of the trailer. His skull was crushed, along with severe trauma to the upper torso area. Employee #1 died at the scene.
