Employee Loses Left Hand Using A Table Saw

Employee #1 lost his left hand using a table saw. He was having trouble with the saw's safety blade cover catching on the wooden backrest support, which is located at the backside of the table saw platform. The safety guard did not catch on the third pull when Employee #1 was expecting the safety guard to catch. As a result, he lost his hand. Employee #1 went to a local hospital for treatment.
