Employee dies installing lighting drops; not work-related

On June 7, 2002, Employee #1, of Quantum Electric, Inc., was installing drops for lighting during the final phase of construction. He was working from a 6 ft to 8 ft portable stepladder in an electrical utility room and access hallway. For some reason, Employee #1 died. Based on the autopsy report, his death was determined not to be work-related.
