Employee injured when leg caught in pipe conveyor

On March 21, 2001, employee #1 was working as a machine operator when his coverall leg was caught in the coupling of the drive shaft of a pipe conveyor system. Before the system could be shut down employee #1 suffered multiple breaks to his left leg. He was hospitalized for his injuries.
