Employee Dies Of Blood Clot Resulting From Fall

Employee #1 was working in the lumber area of a home improvement store. The area had been plowed and salted but some black ice had developed. Employee #1 slipped on the ice and dislocated his hip and broke his femur. The bone required pinning and after the operation Employee #1 developed a blood clot and died several days later.
