Employee's fingers caught in printer

On March 31, 2000, Employee #1 was cleaning the bottom coater belts on Belvac Printer with a rag when the rag was caught by the belts pulling her hand into the belt and pulley. Her right thumb was partially severed and the ends of her ring and little finger were lacerated. The machine was not locked out and was running at full production speed. She was hospitalized for her injuries.
