Employee has finger amputated after contacting saw

An Idaco angle saw had been turned off but blade continued to turn due to stored energy. Employee #1 removed the guard and reached into the area with an air nozzle for the purpose of using compressed air to blow sawdust off saw. Employee #1 inadvertently touched saw, causing amputation of the middle finger on his left hand. He was hospitalized for his injuries.
