Employee killed when forklift overturns

Employee #1, a forklift operator, was hauling cotton between the gin and different warehouses. He dropped off a load at a warehouse and was starting back toward the gin when, for some reason, he left the 12 ft driveway and struck a sloped culvert. The forklift overturned and Employee #1 became pinned by the overhead protection system as he tried to jump clear. He was killed.
