Employee Drowns When Stuck Underwater in Intake Pipe

At approximately 4:15 p.m. on September 27, 2000, an employee was found under water with his left leg stuck in a 12 inch diameter water intake pipe. The employee found unconscious and without a pulse, drowned. The employee was apparently trying to retrieve earrings for a customer that had lost them when she was riding a water slide.
