Employee ampuated four fingers with skilsaw

An apprentice carpenter was using a Skilsaw to rip a 2 by 4 that was three feet long. The saw kicked up, came out of its groove, ran back on the wood and over the employees' left hand. As a result, four fingers were amputated and the employee was hospitalized.
