Employee shot and killed during attempted robbery

At approximately 12:15 a.m. on July 5, Employee #1, a parking lot attendant for Republic Parking NW, Inc., was in his booth working the 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. shift. A person in a ski mask approached the booth and demanded money. Employee #1 raised his hands and was backing away when the robber shot and killed him.
