Employee Is Killed When Struck by Forklift

On January 20, 1997, an employee, an owner-operator of a truck, exited his vehicle and was hit by a forklift, which was exiting the building with a scrap bin. The employee was pinned between the scrap bin and his truck. The weather conditions were icy, wet and slushy. When the emergency medical services arrived, the employee had no vital signs.
