Employee is injured when vehicle hits concrete road divider

At approximately 10:20 a.m. on June 12, 2004, Employee #1, working at APM Terminals, borrowed a coworker's 2000 Ford Ranger XLT pickup truck to drive to the lunchroom during a break. On the return trip, the employee struck a concrete road divider. She suffered a broken hip and pelvis and injured her spinal cord. She was hospitalized with her injuries. She was not wearing the seat belt at the time of the accident.
